Real Madrid Crowned European Kings Again
Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Real Madrid
Real Madrid were crowned kings of Europe for a record-extending 15th time with a 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
The Spanish giants were in control from the first whistle and took the lead through Sergio Ramos in the 17th minute.
Karim Benzema added a second goal just after the hour mark to seal the victory and ensure that Real Madrid would become the first team to win three consecutive Champions League titles.
Borussia Dortmund fought valiantly but were ultimately outclassed by a Real Madrid side that was simply too strong on the night.
The victory was a fitting end to a remarkable season for Real Madrid, who also won the La Liga and Copa del Rey titles.
Zinedine Zidane's side have now won 10 major trophies in the last three years, making them one of the most successful teams in history.
