PHADELPHIA, PA - Chelsea and Brighton gave soccer fans in Philadelphia a night to remember with a thrilling 4-3 exhibition match in the opening game of the Premier League Summer Series. Both teams showcased their attacking prowess, entertaining the crowd with an end-to-end encounter at Lincoln Financial Field.
Chelsea took the lead early as Cole Palmer scored within the first five minutes. However, Brighton responded quickly with a goal from Neal Maupay. The two sides traded goals throughout the first half, with Christopher Nkunku putting Chelsea back ahead and Marc Cucurella equalizing for Brighton.
