Previewing the Pre-Season Friendly Between Chelsea and Brighton

Chelsea beat Brighton 4-3 in their second pre-season match in the United States on Saturday, July 22. The match was played at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was attended by a crowd of 25,422.

Chelsea took the lead in the 15th minute through a goal from Michy Batshuayi. Brighton equalized in the 30th minute through a goal from Glenn Murray. Chelsea then took a 2-1 lead in the 35th minute through a goal from Cesc Fabregas.

Brighton equalized again in the 50th minute through a goal from Anthony Knockaert. Chelsea then took a 3-2 lead in the 60th minute through a goal from Willian. Brighton equalized for the third time in the 70th minute through a goal from Pascal Gross.

Chelsea eventually won the match 4-3 in the 80th minute through a goal from Olivier Giroud. The win was Chelsea's second in pre-season, following a 1-0 win over Perth Glory on July 20.
